The Model 760 is an advanced multi-spectral infrared (MSIR) flame detector designed to provide superior false alarm immunity with the widest field of view. The 760 employs a multi-spectral optical IR sensing array with a sophisticated algorithm to detect both hydrocarbon and certain non-hydrocarbon fueled fires. It also incorporates a self test feature to monitor the detectors ability to detect fires and report a fault condition when impaired. The 760 is designed to detect typical fires such as alcohol, n-heptane, gasoline, jet fuels and hydrocarbons. In addition, the 760 can see through dense smoke produced by diesel, rubber, plastics and lube oil fires. CSA, FM, ATEX, CE Marking approvals. SIL 3 suitable.
